Southern California film students are invited to submit 30- or 60-second PSAs for BREATHE LA to compete for cash prizes. The length (30- or 60-seconds) is the film maker’s choice.

Join BREATHE LA at this conference (A Community Under Siege: The State of Black California and Tobacco Use) designed to broaden awareness, increase dialogue and identify new strategies for expanding tobacco control work in the African American community.

BREATHE LA’s 4-U-N-I youth peer-to-peer smoking prevention group is promoting World No Tobacco Day in conjunction with Gunther von Hagens’ BODY WORLDS 3 exhibition’s “I Quit” smoking cessation program on May 31 at the California Science Center.

Join BREATHE LA for a Football Game - Fathers Day Special Benefits BREATHE LA

Bring the family and join BREATHE LA as the L.A. Avengers take on the Kansas City Brigade at Staples Center on June 15th!

Arrive early to make it a day of fun by experiencing a football-style obstacle course under the Staples Center dome, the “Pre-Game Jam” complete with live music, interactive booths, sign making, face painting, giveaways and autographs from players and the L.A. Avengers’ A-Team Dancers then enjoy the game beginning at 3:30 PM.

Jump: April 26th

Raise: $500 (minimum per jumper)

Benefit: BREATHE LA (O24U, "For Kids Who Care About Clean Air") after school environmental education program, serving low income, inner city youth ages 8 – 14 in highly impacted air pollution areas of LA county.
