BREATHE LA announces nominations for the 2008 CelebrateLA Volunteer Recognition Event being held in Pasadena on April 27. In keeping with the BREATHE LA mission to promote clean air and healthy lungs through research, education and technology, the following have been nominated for their laudable contributions:

Nominees vie for the distinction of CelebrateLA Award recipient as well as the President’s Volunteer Service Award. The President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) is given by the President of the United States in recognition of the valuable contributions made by volunteers across the nation. Any individual, family or group can receive a PVSA for annual and lifelong volunteer service.
