• WHAT: The Pollution & Solutions Salon Series.
• The first salon, sponsored by The Port of Los Angeles will include a welcome by Los Angeles City Council Member Janice Hahn and a moderated panel discussion on "Greening the Ports" among members of the ports, media, elected staff, community and others.

Greening the Ports: Clean Air Within Our Lifetime?

• WHEN: Thursday, June 19th from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
• WHERE: Crowne Plaza Hotel, in the Crowne Room

• WHY: Six salons will be held in total, with each one exploring a different issue or aspect of the environment and how it affects residents, consumers, businesses and other stakeholders.
