No Butts in White House

President Obama signed a tough anti-smoking law today at a White House Rose Garden ceremony. The president spoke of his personal cigarette habit, taken up as a teen, and his difficulties quitting smoking.

BREATHE LA 4UNI Teens Helping Teens Quit Smoking is a teen founded, teen focused, peer mentoring program that helps teens find tobacco-free ways to fit in and be cool. Students anywhere can download materials to start a 4UNI club.

The new tobacco law includes authorizing the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to get tough in regulating tobacco industry practices designed to encourage teens to smoke, and to beef up warning labels on tobacco packaging.
