URGENT APPEAL O24U
BREATHE LA invites you to meet an immediate need to ensure additional Los Angeles County schoolchildren enjoy BREATHE LA O24U Environmental Education Program.
This year, we have been fortunate to have an overwhelming response to our 2008 spring sessions for O24U Environmental Education Program. Many more children than anticipated have signed up to take the program with after school providers throughout Los Angeles County and we are facing an unforeseen shortfall in materials for the children.
Initially, 1,750 children were scheduled to participate in O24U spring 2008. We have just learned that an additional 2,500 children have signed up and are looking forward to learning how to protect our environment through O24U fun hands-on activities.
This means we need additional materials, workbooks, incentives and T-shirts.
We appreciate any level of funding you can provide to support our service to these additional children.
Make a safe secure online donation now, any amount will help!
BREATHE LA O24U Environmental Education Program is supported by grants from KTLA TV McCormick Tribune Charities, LA5 Rotary Foundation and Boeing Employee Giving Fund grants, individual donors like you, and funds raised through our Charity Skydive and BREATH OF LIFE AWARDS events.
BREATHE LA O24U Program provides environmental education for children in after school enrichment throughout Los Angeles County. BREATHE LA O24U spring sessions begin April 21, 2008 in 53 after school sites including Long Beach Boys and Girls Clubs, Beyond the Bell and LA's Best. Since it's inception in 2005, the program has reached thousands of children who learn the value of recycling and the important role they can play in protecting the environment for future generations. Your support ensures each child who wishes to take part in the program enjoys a full learning experience.
BREATHE LA appreciates your commitment to clean air and welcomes your support. If you have any questions, contact us
