BREATHE LA is actively working to ensure the implementation of legislation that promotes emissions control and reduction. A major focus is currently underway to aid in the implementation of the AB 32 Global Warming Act and to address initiatives that would deter this implementation. BREATHE LA is also actively involved in the Los Angeles 30/10 Plan to expedite public transportation plans already approved for Los Angeles County.

Blame TV ads for showing kids putting an inhaler to their mouth contrasted by a mother smoking. Blame health care providers who do not take the time to ensure patients understand. Blame yourself. It doesn't matter where the finger is pointed. What does matter is that appropriate use of an inhaler over an extended period of time will go much further to improve the lung health of someone who suffers from asthma.
