BREATHE LA is actively working to ensure the implementation of legislation that promotes emissions control and reduction. A major focus is currently underway to aid in the implementation of the AB 32 Global Warming Act and to address initiatives that would deter this implementation. BREATHE LA is also actively involved in the Los Angeles 30/10 Plan to expedite public transportation plans already approved for Los Angeles County.

Expert panel discussion with robust Q&A to examine leading examples of organizations from the public, private and non-profit sectors that are creating new sustainable jobs or effectively preparing workers for these green employment opportunities.
Breathe LA's final Green Salon of 2010 brought attention to the lung health plight faced by the Latino community and how Proposition 23, if passed, could destroy not only the health of many in the community, but, new opportunities for job creation.
Breathe California is considering legislation to sponsor for next year, and making determinations about policy priorities. We welcome input because members of the community often have the most innovative and useful ideas for necessary legislation and policy change.
At Breathe LA, we call our many supporters Breathers. Now, a significant threat to improving air quality has made its way onto the November ballot. Our first step is to make sure that all Breathers understand the importance of voting "No" on Proposition 23.
