O24u Hours - Host a Gathering to Support Environmental Education

O24u and O24u Online are hands-on, interactive environmental education programs for children who are

• age 8-14
• live in Los Angeles County
• economically disadvantaged
• face high air pollution risk

It takes only $18 to fund one child's learning experience through O24u.

BREATHE LA ripple effect works in our O24u train-the-trainer delivery model too. BREATHE LA provides partner organizations with O24u Facilitator Guides, Student Activity Books, and O24u t-shirts when available. A growing number of partner organizations deliver the program both after school and in the classroom. BREATHE LA provides training and quiality control through out the process. In addition, BREATHE LA works with partners to secure activity supplies. More important, children carry the ripple effect of the O24u experience into their homes and communities with positive lifestyle impacts.

What students gain through O24u:

• The ability to make environmentally conscious decisions
• Confidence in their ability to create a more healthy future
• Increased self-awareness and awareness of community issues
• The foundation to affect positive change within their local community

All levels of financial support will go a LONG WAY towards clean air and healthy lungs for local children and our community.

$10,000	Provides 1,250 students with Activity Supplies
$5,000	Provides 4000 O24u Student Activity Books or Provides 625 students with Activity Supplies
$2,500	Provides 2000 O24u Student Activity Books or Provides 313 students with Activity Supplies
$1,000	Provides 125 students with Activity Supplies
$720	Provides a classroom of 30 students with a complete O24u curriculum and set of supplies
$18	Enables one student to participate in O24u

In-Kind Donations are also welcome and encouraged:

• California Native Plant Seeds
• Potting Soil
• Baking Soda
• White Vinegar
• Crisco
• Biodegradable cups and plates
• Aluminum foil
• Paper bags
• Spools of string
• Food supplies like graham crackers
